وَقَوْلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُوا وَاللهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُطَهِّرِينَ) التوبة: (۱۰۸(
And the saying of Allah, the Almighty: "In it are men who love to purify themselves, and Allah loves those who purify themselves." (At-Tawbah: 108)
عَنْ عَلَيَّ (رضي الله عنه) ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ الله ﷺ : مِفْتَاحُ الصَّلَاةِ الطُّهُورُ، وَتَحْرِيمُهَا التَّكْبِيرُ، وَتَحْلِيلُهَا التَّسْلِيمُ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتَّرْمِذِيُّ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The key to prayer is purification, and its sanctification is the Takbir, and its conclusion is the Tasleem." [Narrated by Abu Dawood, Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Darimi]
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ (رضي الله عنه) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «مِفْتَاحُ الْجَنَّةِ۱ الصَّلَاةُ، وَمِفْتَاحُ الصَّلَاةِ الطُّهُورُ». رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ.
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The key to Paradise is prayer, and the key to prayer is purification." [Narrated by Ahmad]

1 The statement "The key to Paradise" means the key to its levels, for it has already been mentioned that the key to it is the word of Tawhid (monotheism). Al-Mirqat
۱ قوله : مفتاح الجنة: أي مفتاح درجاتها، وإلا فقد تقدم أن مفتاحها كلمة التوحيد. «المرقاة».
وَعَنْ شَبِيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوْحٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُوْلِ اللهِ ﷺ : أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ ، فَقَرَأَ «الرُّوْمَ فَالْتَبَسَ عَلَيْهِ، فَلَمَّا صَلَّى قَالَ: «مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ يُصَلُّوْنَ مَعَنَا لَا يُحْسِنُوْنَ الطُّهُورَ، وَإِنَّمَا يَلْبِسُ عَلَيْنَا الْقُرْآنَ أُوَلِئِكَ». رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ.
Shabib bin Abi Rawh reported from a man among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the Fajr prayer and recited Surah Ar-Rum, but it became difficult for him. When he finished the prayer, he said: "What is the matter with some people who pray with us but do not perform their purification well? They confuse the Quran for us. Those are the ones." [Narrated by Al-Nasa’i]
