مقدمة الناشر
الحمد لله الذي أوضح وجوه معالم الدين، وأفضح وجوه الشك بكشف النقاب عن وجه اليقين. والصلاة والسلام على أفضل رسله الذي بعث بالدين المتين والحق المبين محمد المستأثر بالأوصاف الحميدة والمجتبى المختص بالخصال السعيدة، وعلى آله وصحبه الكرام الذين حفظوا على أتباعهم أقواله وأفعاله وأحواله، وعلى التابعين بالخير والإحسان، وعلى علماء الأمة في كل عصر وزمان.
أما بعد، فإن السنة إحدى الحجج القاطعة، وبها ثبوت أكثر الأحكام، وعليها مدار العلماء الأعلام، وكيف لا وهي القول والفعل من سيد الأنام في بيان الحلال والحرام الذين عليهما مبنى الإسلام، فتصدى العلماء المستنبطون الراسخون والفضلاء المحققون فدوّنوا كلام سيد المرسلين، ونزهوه وميزوه عن زيف المخلطين المدلِّسين، ورفعوا مناره بنصب العلائم، وأسندوا عمده بأقوى الدعائم حتى صار مرفوعا بالبناء العالي المشيد وبالأحكام الموثق المؤكد، فحفظت السنن الشريفة من ضياعها، وسلمت عن زيغ المبتدعين وتحريف الجهلة المدعين، فمن هؤلاء الجهابذة الحافظ الإمام أبو الحسنات السيد عبد الله بن الشيخ السيد مظفر حسين الحيدر آبادي - عاملهما الله بلطفه الخفي - قد دوّن في السنة كتابا حذا فيه حذو صاحب «مشكاة المصابيح» وسماه «زجاجة المصابيح»، ففاق على أمثاله وتميز على أشكاله، حيث جمع فيها أدلة السادة الحنفية من السنن النبوية ثم شرحها، فله أهمية كبرى عند أهل الحديث لا سيما عند السادة الحنفية.
وإن إدارة البشرى - التي من أهدافها تسهيل إيصال التراث العلمي إلى رُوَّاد العلم طبق مذاق أهل العصر في حلة قشيبة وصورة تروق القراء إن شاء الله تعالى - لَتسرُّها طباعة مشكاة السادة الحنفية «زجاجة المصابيح» في ثوب جديد وطباعة فاخرة، وكل ذلك بفضل الله وتوفيقه.
فالله عز وجل نسأل أن يرضى عنا ويتقبل عملنا هذا، ويجعله خالصا لوجهه الكريم ويمتع به المسلمين من العالمين ويجعله ذخيرة ليوم الدين، وهو على كل شيء قدير وبالإجابة جدير، وأن يوفّقنا لخدمة الدين وعلومه وأهله، وخاصة لإكمال مشاريعنا الأخرى؛ إنه الموفّق والمعين.
منهج عملنا في الكتاب:
وقد خطونا في سبيل إخراج الكتاب على هذه الصورة الخطوات التالية:
- راعينا قواعد الإملاء وعلامات الترقيم وتقسيم النصوص إلى فقرات مناسبة؛ ليسهل فهمها.
- وضعنا عناوين الكتب في رؤوس الصفحات.
- قمنا بتجلية النصوص القرآنية باللون الأحمر، والتزمنا أن نذكر رقم الآية واسم سورتها.
- جلينا الأحاديث القولية خاصةً باللون الأحمر في الحواشي.
- شكّلنا ما يلتبس أو يُشكل على إخواننا الطلبة.
- أشرنا إلى التعليقات التي في حاشية الكتاب بالعلامات الرقمية في المتن.
وقد قام بأعباء هذه المسؤولية لجنة من العلماء والمحققين تحت إشراف: الشيخ محمد أنيس رشيد - حفظه الله - (خريج جامعة دار العلوم كراتشي والمتخصص في الفقه بها).
وقد بذلوا في إخراج هذا السفر الجليل قصارى جهدهم، وأسماؤهم كما يلي:
١ - الأستاذ عبد الله حفظه الله، خريج الجامعة الفاروقية بكراتشي والمتخصص بها.
٢ - الأستاذ فضل ربي حفظه الله، خريج الجامعة الفاروقية بكراتشي.
٣ - الأستاذ محمد سليم المسترشد حفظه الله، خريج جامعة العلوم الإسلامية بنوري تاؤن كراتشي والمتخصص في الفقه بـ«معهد الشيخ زكريا للإفتاء والإرشاد».
وختاما نشكر كل من أعاننا في هذا العمل، ونسأل الله الكريم أن يرزقنا الإخلاص في جهودنا، ويتقبلها ويجعلها ذخرا لنا في الآخرة يوم لا ينفع مال ولا بنون، إنه سميع مجيب، وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلم تسليما كثيرا، والحمد لله رب العالمين.

The Publisher's Introduction
Praise be to Allah, who made plain the features of the landmarks of the religion, and exposed the faces of doubt by lifting the veil from the face of certainty. Blessings and peace upon the best of His messengers, sent with the firm religion and the manifest truth, Muhammad, singled out with praiseworthy attributes, the chosen one distinguished by felicitous qualities, and upon his noble family and Companions, who preserved for their followers his sayings, his deeds, and his states; and upon the Successors in goodness and excellence; and upon the scholars of the Umma in every age and time.
To proceed: the Sunnah is one of the decisive proofs; by it most of the rulings are established, and upon it turns the work of the eminent scholars. How could it be otherwise, when it is the word and deed of the Master of Creation in expounding the lawful and the unlawful, upon which the edifice of Islam is built? So the firmly-grounded, deriving scholars and the verifying men of excellence took up the task: they recorded the speech of the Master of the Messengers, purified it and distinguished it from the counterfeit of the confusers and concealers, raised its beacon by setting up landmarks, and propped its pillars with the strongest supports, until it stood raised as a lofty, well-founded structure, firm and confirmed in its rulings. Thus the noble Sunnahs were preserved from loss, and kept safe from the deviation of innovators and the distortion of ignorant pretenders. Among those master-critics is the hafiz, the Imam Abu al-Hasanat al-Sayyid ʿAbdullah, son of Shaykh al-Sayyid Muzaffar Husayn al-Haydarabadi, may Allah deal with them both with His hidden kindness, who recorded in the Sunnah a book in which he followed the example of the author of Mishkat al-Masabih and named it Zujajat al-Masabih. It surpassed its likes and stood out among its peers, for in it he gathered the proofs of the Hanafi masters from the Prophetic Sunnahs and then expounded them; hence it holds great importance among the people of hadith, above all among the Hanafi masters.
And Idarat al-Bushra, among whose aims is to ease the delivery of the scholarly heritage to the pioneers of knowledge according to the taste of the people of the age, in fine dress and in a form that pleases the readers, if Allah Most High wills, is delighted to print the Mishkat of the Hanafi masters, Zujajat al-Masabih, in a new garment and a fine printing; and all of that is by Allah's bounty and His granting of success.
So we ask Allah, Mighty and Majestic, to be pleased with us and accept this work of ours; to make it purely for His Noble Countenance; to give the Muslims of all the worlds enjoyment of it; and to make it a store for the Day of Judgement, He is powerful over all things and worthy to answer, and to grant us success in the service of the religion, its sciences, and its people, and especially in the completion of our other projects. He is the Giver of success and the Helper.
Our method of work in the book:
In bringing out the book in this form we took the following steps:
- We observed the rules of orthography and punctuation, and divided the texts into suitable paragraphs, so that they may be easily understood.
- We placed the titles of the books at the heads of the pages.
- We set off the Qur'anic texts in red, and committed ourselves to citing the number of each verse and the name of its sura.
- We likewise set off the verbal hadiths in red in the margins.
- We added vowel-signs to whatever might be ambiguous or difficult for our brothers the students.
- We keyed the annotations in the book's margin to numerical marks in the text.
The burdens of this responsibility were borne by a committee of scholars and editors under the supervision of Shaykh Muhammad Anis Rashid, may Allah preserve him, (graduate of Jamiʿa Dar al-ʿUlum Karachi and its specialist in fiqh).
They spent their utmost effort in bringing out this noble tome; their names are as follows:
1. Ustadh ʿAbdullah, may Allah preserve him, graduate and specialist of al-Jamiʿa al-Faruqiyya, Karachi.
2. Ustadh Fadl-e Rabbi, may Allah preserve him, graduate of al-Jamiʿa al-Faruqiyya, Karachi.
3. Ustadh Muhammad Salim al-Mustarshid, may Allah preserve him, graduate of Jamiʿat al-ʿUlum al-Islamiyya, Banuri Town, Karachi, and specialist in fiqh at the Shaykh Zakariyya Institute for Ifta and Guidance.
In closing, we thank everyone who assisted us in this work, and we ask Allah the Generous to grant us sincerity in our efforts, to accept them, and to make them a store for us in the Hereafter, on the Day when neither wealth nor children avail. He is Hearing, Answering. May Allah bless our master Muhammad and his family and Companions and grant them abundant peace. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
